The System Predicts is a London-based multi-platform production company creating bold new content for TV and the web. It was founded in September 2009 by Aasaf Ainapore and Kira-Anne Pelican.

Our first production, Living With The Infidels, was probably the most talked about web series of 2009 by the mainstream media.

We are currently in development with a 6-part series for BBC Comedy, as well as Joel’s Fest, a multi-platform comedy series for teens.

Bios:

Aasaf is a London-based writer / director. He has directed award-winning commercials, short films and episodic comedy. Aasaf has also originated projects for Pathe and Film 4, including the romantic comedy feature script The Season,  the feature drama script, School Run, and the noir thriller, Ockham’s Razor (for Glasshouse Films/Zentropa). His recent credits include Living With The Infidels and the short film Satisfaction, which made the official selection of the Rhodes Island Film Festival (2009).

Kira-Anne is a London-based writer and script consultant with 15 years of experience working in the industry, and production credits including Eyes Wide Shut, The Ladykillers and The Matrix trilogy. Kira-Anne’s recently produced writing credits include the comedy web series Living With The Infidels, and Expose, a play performed at the Cobden Club, London. A graduate of both the London Film School (where she met Aasaf), and the University of California, Los Angeles’ Advanced Program in Screenwriting, Kira-Anne is now a visiting tutor in screenwriting at The Met Film School, London.
